A Beer a Day Keeps... something something Away

Is there anybody who's had more than one German import and yet not tasted Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse? This wheat beer from Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu is practially a standard.

I bought a larger-sized bottle which didn't quite fit into the pilsner glass I tried to use. I followed the directions as best I could by rinsing the glass (what does this accomplish?), pouring at an angle, and shaking the last bit in the bottle before completing the pour. This produced a smallish head.

Hefe-Weisse has a fairly distinctive color, a sort of cloudy amber. The beer tastes like oranges and is quite pleasant to drink. (Other reviewers note some banana taste and smell which I can kind of see in retrospect.) A nice summer beer. My only complaint is that some of the yeast coagulated at the bottom of my glass, leaving an ugly residue.
