Stupid Google Tricks

If you as Google Maps for directions from a U.S. city to a Canadian city, you get distances in miles. If you reverse the trip the distances are all in kilometers.

This struck me as a bit odd (because clicking "get reverse directions" shouldn't imply a change in the user's preference). On further thought, the most helpful behavior would probably be to give distances in kilometers on Canadian roads and in miles on U.S. roads. You can pick either one and override the default, but I don't think you can get a mix of both.
