Things I Learned Today That Might Have Been Obvious

The Linux kernel's RPC client implementation times out idle TCP connections after 5 minutes. (This timeout is hard-coded into the RPC client layer.)

European booth sizes are metric. This means your American trade show display doesn't quite fit without modification.

If a particular field is almost always zero, nobody will notice a bug that causes it to be always zero. Oops.

Marketing people think a 2% signup rate (webinar registration, white paper download, etc.) is good goal for visitors to a web site like Tintri's.
